Skateboards

Complete skateboards built to ride, whether you’re stepping on for the first time or you’ve been doing this for years. We keep things simple: solid decks, smooth trucks and wheels that roll true. No gimmicks, no upsell nonsense.

New to skating? Start here, and grab a skate helmet and pad set while you’re at it. Already got years in? You’ll find boards that hold up. Every complete skateboard ships ready to ride.

How to Choose a Skateboard

What size skateboard do I need?

Deck width is the main thing to get right. As a rough guide:

  • 7.25" mini boards: made for younger kids and smaller feet. Try the Enuff Skully Mini or Lucky Cat Mini.
  • 7.375" to 7.75": a good fit for older kids, teens and anyone with smaller feet who wants a board that’s easy to flip.
  • 8.0" to 8.25": the most popular sizes for adults. More stable underfoot and great for cruising, ramps and the skatepark.

Not sure? Go with what feels comfortable. A slightly wider board is easier to balance on when you’re learning.

Complete skateboard or custom setup?

A complete skateboard comes fully assembled, with the deck, trucks, wheels and bearings chosen to work together. It’s the easiest way to start and usually better value than buying parts separately. Every board in this collection is a complete, ready to ride straight out of the box.

Birdhouse or Enuff?

Birdhouse is the brand founded by Tony Hawk, with boards graded by stage. Enuff makes fun, affordable completes that are perfect as a first board or for younger skaters. See every brand we stock on our Brands page.

Don’t forget the safety gear

Every new skater should wear a helmet, and pads make learning a lot less painful. Shop our skate helmets and skate pad sets.

Prefer four wheels or eight?

If skateboarding isn’t quite your thing, take a look at our quad roller skates and inline skates and rollerblades.
